I’m so excited to announce that WHERE WOLF is finally coming to print!
Well, technically my friends at Bloody Disgusting and Fangoria announced it… but whatevs.
I’ve been working on this project in some capacity or another since January 2020 and it’s been living in my head for a whole lot longer than that. While I was thrilled when FANGORIA published the comic on their website last summer, I always knew I wanted to release it in print. And yes, I know how hypocritical that sounds coming from a self-professed “physical media is dead” guy.
I'm so f'n excited to partner up with the fine folks at Encyclopocalypse Publications to release the comic I created with Debora Lancianese and Jack Morelli in both hardcover and softcover editions beginning this summer. I know I’m biased but the book looks fantastic. I worked closely with the incredible team at Culture Pilot to design the kind of book I’d want to have on my shelf - even if I had nothing to do with its creation. The softcover version of the book is 100 percent in black and white - like so many of the thick-ass graphic novels I grew up obsessing over as a kid. The hardcover version has spot color on two pages (if you know, you know). Both editions have sketches, a playlist and some other fun extra surprises.
You can order the book directly from the publisher’s website here - order there, and you’ll get the book a few weeks early. If you’d rather order from Amazon or Barnes and Noble, you can do that too. Speaking of Amazon and Barnes and Noble, if you read the book when it was a webcomic, please consider leaving a review on both of those sites.
If you're a retailer (or know a retailer) and are interested in carrying WHERE WOLF, reach out to me at Rob@wherewolfcomic.com and we’ll make it happen!
Oh, did I mention I'm going on tour?
I've lined up 25 theaters (so far) where I will be screening werewolf films and signing copies of the book. The tour kicks off on March 31 at the Alamo LaCenterra and will include stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Austin and more. Making things even cooler is the fact that Paramount has created a brand-new DCP of SILVER BULLET to use on this tour! It makes my werewolf-loving heart proud to know that I give theaters across the world a way to show this Stephen King adaptation on the big screen.

Don’t see a theater near you on the list? I will travel anywhere in the continental US (potentially farther if you make a really good case). Movie theater, book store, duck pond - I don’t care. I am even willing to pay my own travel if there’s a good chance I’ll sell a few books. If I’m being really honest with myself, a big reason why I wrote WHERE WOLF might have been to have an excuse to travel.
I’ll have more WHERE WOLF news to share - including progress reports on the sequel - but, in the meantime, I can’t wait to share the book with folks very, very soon.
